Gordon Fraser was appointed Assistant Chief Constable responsible for crime performance and investigation in June 2009 and took up the post of Temporary Deputy Chief Constable in January 2010.
He previously served with West Midlands Police for 22 years working in various roles including Head of Intelligence, Head of Crime and Head of Business and Service Improvement giving him a wealth of knowledge to fulfil this post.
He received a national award for the dismantling of serious and organised crime networks and has experience on managing covert operations.
Gordon said: “I am very pleased to have been offered the position of Temporary Deputy Chief Constable. I am looking forward to meeting the challenge it provides.”
