What is Project Kraken?

Project Kraken encourages those who work in or enjoy Leicestershires maritime environment to be extra vigilant to counter the threat of terrorism and crime.

By working with local communities and partners, Project Kraken aims to prevent and deter terrorist groups and criminals from operating in the county’s in land waterways system while making our canals and rivers safer for those using it legitimately.

Through enhanced counter terrorism awareness and sharing information, Leicestershires in land waterwayscan continue to be safe.
