Burglary at pub in Great Bowden

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at The Shoulder of Mutton pub in Great Bowden.

The incident happened between 4.20am and 4.45am on Thursday November 5, 2009 when the pub was broken into and a large quantity of money stolen.

Four men were seen running from the premises and are believed to have run into the Main Street.

PC Paul Cumbers, who is investigating the incident, said: "We're interested in hearing from anyone who was in the area at this time and remembers any suspicious activity to please get in touch.

"If you saw these people making off from the scene or know their identity, please contact us.

"Anything that struck you as out of the ordinary, no matter how small it may seem could be crucial so please contact us."
