Police are concerned for the welfare of a Polish man, living in Leicester, who has been missing since Saturday December 12.
47-year-old Grzegorz Witkowski of Upper Tichborne Street in Highfields was last seen by a friend at 10.30pm on Saturday December 12 leaving a party in Bridlespur Way in Leicester.
He was reported missing to police on Monday December 14 by another friend.
Grzegorz is described as white, 5’5” tall with a slim build. He has short brown hair and brown eyes.
Detective Sergeant Ian Lewis said: “Grzegorz is a businessman who splits his time between Poland and Leicester. It is very unusual that neither his friends and associates in Leicester nor his family in Poland have heard from him since December 13.
“Grzegorz had told his family that he would be travelling back to Poland on December 18 in time for Christmas. Obviously his family are very concerned for his welfare.
“Enquiries are being made in Leicester and by police in Poland to locate Grzegorz. We are appealing to anyone who has information about his whereabouts to please get in touch with police immediately.”
