Supporting policing in Leicestershire and Rutland

If you're after a job that is challenging, demanding and rewarding, a career with Leicestershire Constabulary might be just what you're looking for.

More than 1,100 police staff help to make sure that the Force provides a first-class service to the people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, whatever happens, day or night.

The roles carried out by our police staff are many and varied and include traffic wardens, scenes of crime officers, administrative assistants, human resource officers, communications officers, clerks and front enquiry desk officers.

Such challenging work means that it is essential for our staff to be trained and developed, building on the skills and experiences they bring with them to their roles. We encourage career development for every member of staff and take great pride in their achievements.

Why not take a look at what jobs are on offer in the current vacancies section? For certain posts such as communications officers and traffic wardens we normally block recruit, perhaps once or twice a year. These will be advertised on our current vacancies section - so keep checking.

Due to the large number of enquiries we receive, it is not possible to keep your details on file. You should apply for vacancies as and when they arise. A completed application form is required for each post in which you are interested. Curriculum vitaes or pre-printed summaries of experience / qualifications cannot be accepted.
