How to help us improve our service if you're not happy

What to do if you're not happy with the service you've received if you're not happy

We set ourselves very high standards and aim to provide a service of the highest quality. However, if anyone feels that the service they received did not meet those standards they are encouraged to get in touch with us.

If your complaint is regarding the conduct of police officers, police staff, police community support officers or members of the special constabulary you can find out more about how to make a complaint in our advice and information section.

Alternatively, there may be issues relating to the Force's policies and procedures with which you are unhappy. These may include

  • operational policing policies,
  • organisational decisions,
  • general policing standards,
  • operational management decisions (where there is no issue of misconduct).

If this is the case you can visit, telephone or write to your local policing unit, or write to
