Traffic on the motorway

The Traffic Management section is the team that engages with our partners in road safety.

They liaise with different agencies on behalf of the Force to ensure common policies and messages are delivered to the motoring public across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

They deal with a wide range of issues, from major road works to the positioning of bus stops.

The staff work with highway authorities to discuss proposed alterations to roads, signs, markings and traffic regulation orders, and are also available to offer advice and information to the Force regarding traffic management and road safety issues.
