Face to face interpreting performance figures

Face to face interpreting services are provided to Leicestershire Constabulary and all East Midlands police forces by the Cambridgeshire Interpreting and Translating Agency (CINTRA).

Under the terms of the contract, CINTRA are required to provide Leicestershire Constabulary with interpreters within two and a half hours from the time of request for 80% of requests made. From June 2006 this time limit was reduced to two hours.

CINTRA are required to provide all East Midlands forces with an interpreter when requested within six hours. This will reduce to five hours by November 2006.
