Prior to becoming a beat officer I was a response officer throughout North West Leicestershire.
I am interested in addressing local issues and along with my beat colleagues, I aim to tackle the issues that you raise as being important within the area whilst being a visible and reassuring officer on the beat. I am friendly and approachable and always happy to help."

PC Rich Watson (1445)
I have been a Police Officer since 1996, working at various stations including Ashby, Coalville and Loughborough.
I have worked in various roles such as Principal Beat Manager, Instant Response Officer and in CID. I am an advanced driver, being qualified in motorway procedures, pursuits and the use of speed monitoring devices.
I am trained in all aspects of interviewing including specialist video interviewing of vulnerable victims. I have also tutored many new constables. I utilize these skills in my work as the Beat Manager to build community cohesion and increase public confidence.
I intend to be visible in the community and address issues that arise on the beat to the best of my ability. I visit the schools and the Youth Clubs in the Greenhill & Agar Nook area on a regular basis to keep abreast of Youth Issues and have built a close working relationship. I also work closely in conjunction with the Council and East Midlands Housing Association to resolve local disputes.
I would urge anyone who has any issues to contact me as I can assure you that I am friendly and approachable.

PCSO Jim Sorrell (6672)
"Having been on the beat now for just over a year, I feel that I have a good understanding of the sort of issues that are of concern to the people living in the area and by working with other agencies, these problems are being addressed.
"I am always talking to people in the community to try to help out in any way that I can. I feel that it is important that the community have a PCSO that knows the area and the people that live and work there. It is also important that people understand that their point of contact for the police and other problems within the community will remain the same. This will give people the confidence to speak to me about any issues that they feel need addressing.
"Please feel free to talk to me as you see me walking about on the beat." -
PCSO Julie Ryan (6015)
Julie joined the neighbourhood policing team in 2006. She is enthusiastic and approachable and able to engage with a wide range of age groups within the community.
Julie is keen to develop further initiatives within the community to reduce incidents of anti-social behaviour. She continues to support and reassure the most vulnerable residents and has assisted PC Davis in the setting up of "No Cold Call" zones within Measham and surrounding villages. -
PCSO Kevin Bradley (6867) I am Kevin Bradley and have been the Police Community Support Officer for Ibsock/Ellistown/Battram/Heather since October 2009.
I believe the success of Neighbourhood Policing requires effective engagement and communication, which in turn will build confidence and feelings of security within the community. Working with respect, understanding and consideration to the structure of the neighbourhood community, as part of the Neighbourhood Team we aim to help tackle anti-social behaviour and minimise its impact on the lives of those effected.
I feel it is important to involve other agencies to help improve and re-generate the community, improve living standards and install confidence within a safe neighbourhood. -
PCSO Mark Ball (6865) I believe to build confidence and security in the community requires effective engagement and communication between the community and other agencies including myself and my colleagues in the Leicestershire Constabulary.
I am always out and about walking on my beat, I am easily approachable so if at any time you want to stop me to have a chat or to discuss a problem please feel free to do so.
