Local priorities and action taken
Our priorities for Winter to Summer 2012
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months.
- To reduce anti-social behaviour, under age drinking and littering on children's play parks and Burleigh College playing fields on evenings and weekends.
- To tackle rowdy behaviour and drinking in the alcohol free zone along the Ashby Road (Storer area). Every day general monitoring and between the hours of 10pm and 4am daily.
- To tackle late night, alcohol related anti-social behaviour (ASB), by setting up on-line Pubwatch to ban identified persons entering licensed premises in the town centre between the hours of 9pm to 3am.
