How to contact your neighbourhood policing team and who they are

  • Julian Lester Sgt Julian Lester (226) I have been a Police Officer for 13 years and in that time I have undertaken a number of roles including being a Beat Manager, a Custody Sergeant, a Neighbourhood Sergeant and most recently working within the Professional Standards Department.

    In August 2011 I became the Neighbourhood Sergeant for the Loughborough Central beat covering the areas of Loughborough Town Centre, Loughborough University and the Sharpley and Garendon estate.

    I have inherited a team of officers who are enthusiastic and dedicated to working with local communities who care about the location, in which they live, work or visit. In listening to the concerns of our community I aim to lead the Neighbourhood Team effectively, by focusing on preventing crime, identifying offenders and bringing those who commit crime to justice. Together with local partnership working we also aim to tackle issues of Anti Social Behavior and will use all available tactics to help eradicate any problems.

    I look forward to meeting members of the community over next few months.
  • Charlotte Dickens PC Charlotte Dickens (4618) I joined Leicestershire Constabulary in 2007 and have been based at Loughborough since then. I have spent the majority of my time as a response officer, and have also spent time on our Neighbourhood action team. I am now working as part of the Loughborough central beat team working as a beat officer on the University Beat. I enjoy being out and about, meeting the public and tackling the issues that matter to you. I hope to make living in the area a safer and more enjoyable place to live. I look forward to the coming year, welcoming any new challenges and meeting lots of new people along the way.
  • Hannah Briggs PC Hannah Briggs (4589) "I have worked at Loughborough Police Station since 2006. I spent two years as a response officer before taking the role as Town Centre Beat Officer in March 2009.

  • PC Mike Green PC Mike Green (1845) "I have been a police officer since 2001, when I first started at Loughborough. I have performed a variety of roles throughout my service and am now working as one of the Beat Officers for Loughborough Central.

  • Sheree Wheatley PC Sheree Wheatley (4513) I joined Leicestershire constabulary in 2004 and have worked as a police officer at both Hinckley and Loughborough police station. In October 2010 I became a member of the Loughborough Town Centre neighbourhood team.

    I am keen to build strong links with the local community and partner agencies in order to make Loughborough town centre a nicer place to live and visit.

    I enjoy working with people and encourage community members to speak to me about any local issues. I will always endeavour to tackle any concerns or issues raised.
  • Suzi Jackson PC Suzie Jackson (4616) I have been a Police Officer since 2007 and have been based at Loughborough since then. I initially started on response at Loughborough and after a period of eighteen months I took the opportunity to work as a Beat Officer in Loughborough Town Centre.

    I worked in the town centre for just under two years; I really enjoyed working on such a busy beat and interacting with the changeable community who visit the town centre. I enjoy being out and about interacting with members of the public and ensuring that Loughborough town centre is an enjoyable and safe place to visit.

    I have recently moved to work as the beat officer for Loughborough University, Loughborough College and the surrounding residential areas. I am really enjoying the challenges of a new beat and I am looking forward to the start of the new academic year. This is a busy beat with a diverse community, with lots of students coming to Loughborough for the first time or returning to the town to continue with their studies, along with a large residential area.

    I am friendly and approachable so please come and say hello if you see me out and about patrolling around the beat.
  • PCSO Clare Mant PCSO Clare Mant (6065) "I joined Leicestershire Constabulary as a PCSO in February 2007. I currently cover the University Campus and hope to build a strong relationship with staff, students and the local community."
  • PCSO Daniel Thorpe PCSO Daniel Thorpe (6135) I have been a PCSO since 2008 and have a lot of experience around community policing and dealing with anti social behaviour. I have recently moved to this beat for a new challenge and I am looking forward to meeting the local community.
  • PCSO Dave Falle PCSO Dave Falle (6501) I have worked for Leicestershire constabulary for 25 years, 16 years as a Traffic warden supervisor and the last 9 years as a PCSO, all my career has been based at Loughborough over that period I have built up strong relationships within the local community and local retail business in tackling those issues that effect them.

  • Lauren De Wet PCSO Lauren De Wet (6590) I joined Leicestershire Constabulary in October 2011 after transferring from Warwickshire Police where I was a Police Community Support Officer for 4 and a half years. I am currently based on the Sharpley Estate.

    I look forward to getting to know the local community on the Sharpley area. When you see me in the local area, please feel free to say hello and discuss any issues or concerns. I look forward to meeting you.
  • Lucinda Tagg PCSO Lucinda Tagg (6554) I have worked for Leicestershire Constabulary since January 2003 and joined the Loughborough Central beat in August 2011,

    During my time working for the force I have spent a number of years working as part of a burglary reduction team specializing in giving home security advice prior to becoming a dedicated neighbourhood officer, If your concerned about your home security and you are looking for advise on how to improve it then I would like to here from you. Also if you see me about please stop me and have your say on issues that matter to you most, your views are important to your Neighbourhood team and we’d encourage you to tell us what issues you think we and partner agencies should be tackling
  • PCSO Shaheen Abdulla PCSO Shaheen Abdulla (6663) "Shaheen Abdulla has been a PCSO since 2006. He has spent all of this time based at Loughborough and currently covers Loughborough University and the surrounding area."
  • PCSO Sue Exton PCSO Sue Exton (6161) I have been a police community support officer for Leicestershire Constabulary for nearly four years.
    I have recently moved on to the Loughborough Central neighbourhood team from the Shelthorpe neighbourhood team.
