Outwoods and Forest Road
The Neighbourhood beat covers the Outwoods Edge and Forest Road areas of Loughborough. The beat is mainly privately owned residential houses. The area includes a number of schools including Woodbrooke Vale, Outwoods Edge Primary, Loughborough High School, Loughborough Convent School and the Girl's High School.
There are also various small business premises along with a large supermarket. There are a number of sports grounds within the area and the beat also includes a large rural wooded area in the vicinity of Jubilee Woods.
There is one dedicated beat officer who is working very hard in order to forge new links into the community. This is in order to provide a peaceful environment for the local community and improve visibility and reassurance in the area.
