How to contact your neighbourhood policing team and who they are

  • Martin Owen Sgt Martin Owen (1362) "I have been a police officer for 23 years and have been fortunate to have worked in a variety of roles across the Leicestershire Constabulary force area.

    "In March 2010 I joined the neighbourhood team supervising officers policing the Dishley, Gorse Covert, Thorpe Acre, Outwoods, Forest Road, Shelthorpe, Shepshed and Hathern beats. I believe the neighbourhood teams together with our partner agencies working with local communities can have a positive impact tackling both crime and anti-social behaviour issues. I intend to continue to promote this partnership work in order to address the concerns that directly affect the local communities and residents who live there."
  • PC Phil Martindale PC Phil Martindale (1799) PC Phil Martindale has worked for Leicestershire Constabulary since 2001 having previously worked for West Midlands Police.

    He has been based on the north area since this time and has been the community beat officer for Shepshed since 2004.

    PC Martindale enjoys working closely with the local community, listening to issues and working together to identify solutions to problems.
  • PC Richard Neville PC Richard Neville (1264) I joined Leicestershire Constabulary in 2002.

    I have worked as a Response Officer, primarily at Loughborough and for a short period of time at Beaumont Leys before joining the Beat Team for the Shepshed area in 2007.

  • PCSO Kelly Fowkes PCSO Kelly Davis (6046) "In 2004 I joined Leicestershire Constabulary as a Special Constable based at Ashby local policing unit. I became a PCSO in January 2007 and I am based at Shepshed police station covering the whole of Shepshed town and Hathern.

    "I enjoy the challenge of working with the community and working closely with the rest of the beat team to make Shepshed and Hathern a safer place."
  • PCSO 6673 Lee Rocket PCSO Lee Rocket (6673) I joined Leicestershire Constabulary as a PCSO in 2006 and since then I have covered multiple beat areas around the Loughborough area building relationships with communities and partner agencies to try and make a difference to the areas we live and work on, when you see me out and about please feel free to stop me for a chat and express any concerns or issues you may have.
  • PCSO Liesel Wilkins PCSO Liesel Wilkins (6182) "I joined Leicestershire Constabulary in September 2008 as a Police Community Support Officer and previously served as a Special Constable (Section Officer) for twelve and a half years from 1986".

    "I am keen to learn about the diversity of the community as a whole. I take pride in getting involved with the wellbeing of people and their everyday concerns, especially those of the elderly and vulnerable. I'm very approachable and would like to listen to people's concerns and issues. Please introduce yourselves if you see me, and have a friendly chat.   • Nicholas Cox PCSO Nicholas Cox (6052) I have been working for Leicestershire Police since March 2011 I am very new to the role and looking forward to getting involved with the community. I currently cover the Thorpe Acre and Dishley beat.
