The neighbourhood beat covers the Dishley, Gorse Covert and Thorpe Acre areas of Loughborough. The beat is mainly residential, which consists of both private and local authority housing.
There are also two shopping centres - Thorpe Acre and Gorse Covert. The neighbourhood also includes two primary schools - Stonebow primary school and Robert Bakewell primary School.
The Dishley, Gorse Covert and Thorpe Acre areas have one dedicated beat officer who is working very hard to provide a peaceful environment for the local community and improve visibility and reassurance in the area.
