  • Andy Varley PC Andy Varley (2856) "I've now served as a full-time police officer since 2007, being based at Loughborough completing the role of a General Duty Officer. In changing to a Principal Beat Officer, I am now looking forward to embracing the challenges of Neighbourhood Policing and assisting the people of Hastings Ward and Meadow Lane. Working together with the rest of the Beat Team, I am now committed to facing and dealing with the problems in the area, involving our partnership agencies where appropriate.   • Dan Robberts PC Dan Robberts (2913) “I have been a police officer since June 2008 spending my first 2 years at Oakham followed by a short spell with the CID at Melton Mowbray. I moved to Loughborough LPU in September 2010 and spent a year working on the Sharpley and Garendon beat.


    I am now part of the beat team responsible for the east of Loughborough. I am looking forward to working with my colleagues, partner agencies and members of the community to deal with local issues and challenges. Please feel free to contact me should you wish to discuss any local issue.”

  • Sheela Kaya PC Sheela Kaya (4600) I have been part of the policing in Loughborough since 2007. Working with the community has given me much enjoyment and satisfaction. I endeavour to deal with problems affecting the community within the area of the beat promptly and professionally.
    I am very supportive of neighbourhood policing and the Police Pledge which clearly outlines my responsibilities which I will endeavour to deliver to the community I serve in the Loughborough area on a daily basis.
  • Anthony Brewin PCSO Anthony Brewin (6543) I joined Leicestershire Constabulary in February 2009 as a Special Constable and briefly worked from Beaumont Leys Local Policing Unit. I then took my current position as a PCSO, and now work in the neighbourhood covering Hastings Ward and Meadow Lane.   • Graham Mason PCSO Graham Mason (6560) I have been working as a PCSO for Leicestershire Constabulary for five years. The majority of which was spent covering Melton Mowbray.

    For the past year I have been stationed at Loughborough Police Station, and now cover the Hastings and Meadow Lane area.

    I am very approachable and would encourage anyone with a problem or not to come and speak to me or to just say hello. Along with my beat colleagues and through Neighbourhood Policing we plan to support the residents of our beat and deliver a second to none service to ensure an improvement in the area.

    It is my priority to help rid the area of crime and anti social behaviour and, by working together, I believe that we can achieve this.

  • PCSO Virendra Patel PCSO Virendra Patel (6542) Virendra Patel has been a PCSO for four years, covering Loughborough Town Centre for two of those years.

    PCSO Patel now patrols the Peel Drive and Meadow Lane area in Loughborough and aims to make the area a safe and friendly place to live.
