Local priorities and action taken
Our priorities for Winter - Summer 2012
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months.
- To reduce incidents of vehicle crime at rural beauty spots. There are several parking areas across the whole beat which are easy targets for car thieves. Specific areas are Belvoir Castle car park and the area at the top of Barkestone Wood close to the Jubilee Way between 9am and 6pm daily
- To reduce incidents of anti social behaviour (ASB) in the village of Bottesford, Belvoir Rd, the Village Hall, Queen St and Walford Cl between the hours of 6pm and 2am on Friday and Saturday evenings or when there is a significant event in the village.
- To reduce the number of speeding vehicles during the morning and evening commuter periods on Penn Ln, Stathern, Belvoir Rd, Bottesford, Grantham Rd, Bottesford and Main St, Wymondham between the hours of 7am to 9am and 3pm to 6pm on weekdays.
