Updates for August - October 2009

Update: November 11 2009

You told us…

To work with partner agencies to reduce antisocial
behaviour in St Johns Close, Ryhall,
Sherrards Close, Whissendine and the area
around the quarry in Little Casterton.

We responded…

by increasing patrols in the highlighted areas and using
new technology to make sure we patrol in the right area
at the right time. We conducted a joint operation with
Lincolnshire Police to reduce the anti-social use of
motorcycles at the quarry in Little Casterton which
resulted in a 75% reduction in calls from members of the
public.
Regular beat surgeries and other events have improved
communication and confidence in the policing team.
These meetings have highlighted to us that you remain
concerned about anti-social behaviour and, although
there has been a lot of progress in the last three
months, we will continue to work on this as a priority for
the next period.
