"I have been a Police Officer for nearly 26 years and for the past 12 years have been on based in the Charnwood area. I work from Syston Police Station where the Charnwood Local Policing Unit is located. This has enabled me to establish strong links with partner agencies and local community groups across this policing area.
In my role as Neighbourhood Management Sergeant I have a key part to play in delivering Neighbourhood Policing in the various local communities we serve in this area as well as having a supervisory responsibility for all six beat teams that currently operate at the Local Policing Unit."

"I have been with the police since 1999, nine years of which I was as a Scene of Crime Officer, I have been a police officer in the Charnwood Local Policing Unit since 2006. I have been the beat manager for Birstall and Wanlip since September 2008”.

"Working closely alongside my beat officer, we tackle the problems that affect the community, also giving reassurance and a high visible presence on the streets and a point of contact for the residents of the village."
