How to contact your neighbourhood policing team and who they are

Neighbourhood Sergeant

  • Sgt Rachael Payne Sgt Rachael Payne (4322) I Joined Leicestershire Constabulary in 2000 having worked in different areas of the county in a variety of different roles. I moved to Blaby in April 2007.

I am now responsible for the Neighbourhood Teams that cover the North and South of Blaby District, these include Glenfield, Leicester Forest East, Braunstone Town, Thorpe Astley, Kirby Muxloe, Aston Firs, Aston Flamville, Elmesthorpe, Highcross, Potters Marsden, Sharnford, Stoney Stanton, Thurlaston, Wigston Parva, Croft, Leicester Forest West, Huncote and Sapcote.
The Neighbourhood Teams are focusing on the issues that have a detrimental affect on people's quality of life.

Customer satisfaction and confidence are very important to me and these are two areas that I will strive to improve. Over the last 18 months I have worked closely with the Community Safety Team at Blaby District Council where I have been involved with introducing new processes to ensure that we are effectively dealing with the effects of anti-social behaviour. I have also been involved in a number of crime reduction initiatives and community safety projects across Blaby District. I want to ensure that the people of Blaby District are satisfied with the service that the Neighbourhood Teams provide.
  • PC Rob Weston PC Rob Weston (1275) "I began my career with Leicestershire Constabulary in 2001 working as a general duty officer at Hinckley. I have worked in various roles at Market Bosworth, Force Headquarters and recently at Blaby Police Station. During my time away from work I enjoy golfing, football and being with my family.

As Principal Beat Officer for Fosse Villages I hope to engage with the community and making myself as accessible and approachable as possible. I look forward to tackling issues that affect the quality of day-to-day life within the community, including taking positive action against those who commit crime.

  • PCSO Alex Joule PCSO Alex Joule (6075) "I am delighted to be returning to cover the Fosse Villages beat and joining PC Robert Weston.

I joined Leicestershire Constabulary 4 years ago as a Police Community Support Officer where I have gathered a wealth of information and knowledge.

I am very much looking forward to working with the communities I have been involved with before, renewing old acquaintances and of course making new ones to jointly work together with solving neighbourhood problems and issues.

If you see me out and about come and speak to me, let me know your issues and by working together we can make a difference! Even if you have no issues, come and say hello."
