You told us…
To tackle youth disorder on The Paddock, Station
Road, Countesthorpe. Youths are gathering on
The Paddock and being noisy and a general
nuisance to the local residents.
We responded…
By maintaining visible foot and mobile patrols at hot spot
times on Station Road, around the village hall, The
Paddock and around St Andrew's church yard. There
have been fewer calls to the police in the area over the
last three months. We have identified the main youths
involved in the disorder and invited Blaby District
Council to work alongside us in educating them, which
in turn has ensured they deal with the consequences of
their actions. This priority will be clos ed.
You told us…
To tackle the youth disorder at Kilby Church, Kilby.
Youths are gathering in the church car park in
their motor vehicles. It is believed they are
gathering in the area to take drugs and litter the
area.
We responded…
By carrying out door to door community consultations
with residents to identify the days and times that the
problem is occurring. We then patroled at these times to
deter any potential gatherings. This has resulted in a
number of vehicles being stop checked in the area and
dealt with accordingly, although no drugs have been
s eized. This priority will be carried over.
You told us…
To disrupt the low level anti-social behaviour
caused by youths on foot or in cars on Victory
Park car park on Park Road, Cosby.
We responded…
By maintaining regular patrols along Park Road,
Narborough Road and Victory Park itself, particularly at
evenings and weekends. This has reduced the number
of youths gathering and acting anti-socially in the area.
Blaby District Council has again been involved and is
helping us to educate the youths involved. This priority
will again be carried over.
