Braunstone Town
This neighbourhood beat covers Braunstone Town. Braunstone Town is a large residential area, covered by Blaby District Council, with numerous local shops, schools and three public houses.
The beat also covers Grove Farm Triangle and a small retail area opposite Fosse Park. Watergate Lane houses a selection of shops and some industrial units, including a substantial new development of private housing.
The area receives support from the Braunstone Town Council, who hold regular meetings at the Braunstone Civic Centre. The centre is also the venue for various community activities throughout the year.
