  • PC Jon Shaw PC Jonathan Shaw (344) "I have been a police officer with Leicestershire Constabulary since 1992. Since June 2009 I have worked as part of the neighbourhood police team at Market Bosworth.

    I find this to be both rewarding and challenging, working closely with our partner agencies to tackle issues that arise in the diverse range of communities that we cover."
  • PC Justin Hayes PC Justin Hayes (334) Hi, I am Justin Hayes and I joined Leicestershire Police in 1995.
    I was originally stationed in the greater Leicester area covering Wigston, Welford Road and Blaby area’s and spent the majority of my service as a response driver.
    In 2007 I became the neighbourhood beat officer for Ratby and joined the team, which includes Groby, Markfield and Stanton under Bardon.
    In 2012 I also became the beat officer for Thornton and Bagworth villages and am looking forward to getting to know residents.
    I thoroughly enjoy my role as a beat officer and feel I am approachable and keen to work with my neighbourhoods and partner agencies, to tackle any concerns you may have.
  • PC Kevin Kelly PC Kevin Kelly (918) Hi, I am PC 918 KELLY, more commonly known as Ned and I am currently stationed at Market Bosworth Police Station.
    I am one of a team of six officers which included three police officers and three police community support officers covering the Ratby, Markfield and Groby area. My primary responsibility is for the village of Groby. I am always willing to help the community and happy to listen to any concerns they may have.

  • PC Phil Hale PC Phil Hale (537) Having spent the first half of my career in the urban areas of the county, I have found my time working in the rural community just as challenging. My main responsibilities are for the villages of Desford, Market Bosworth, Peckleton and Cadeby.
  • PC Sadie Harlock PC Sadie Harlock (4338) "Hi, I'm PC 4338 Sadie Harlock. I have been a serving officer since 1996 and am currently stationed at Hinckley and Bosworth local policing unit. I spent 7 years at Hinckley as a Local Police Officer, and then moved to New Parks doing the same role. I joined the beat on January 25th 2010 and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

  • PC Sean Hannigan PC Sean Hannigan (1189) "Hello I am PC Sean Hannigan and have been a Police Officer for over 13 years. I have worked in Leicester City Centre, Melton, Rutland, and Hinckley. I am enjoying my role as a beat officer and welcome the opportunity to work more closely with members of the local Community.

    I cover the following Villages Shackerstone, Odstone, Barton in the Beans, Congerstone, Bilstone, Sheepy Magna Sheepy Parva, Pinwall, Upton, Sibson, Wellsborough. Barlestone, Osbaston and Nailstone.

    I have recently been transferred back to Market Bosworth where I began my career and I am looking forward to getting stuck back in to community policing at Market Bosworth and surrounding villages on my beat.

  • PCSO Mike Chapman PCSO Mike Chapman (6115) Hello, I have been a member of the Market Bosworth Beat L79 team for 18 months and I relish this challenging role. I am becoming known as “Mike the Bike” and you see me normally biking around the villages come “rain or shine” and raising the high visibility presence of the Police Service in these rural areas. I love meeting the people on my Beat and I take on board any issues that you have raised to me. I will continue to work at tackling the anti-social behavior on Beat L 79, by going into the schools, speaking to the kids and also continuing building up relationships with the local communities. I am particularly concerned with rural crime on my beat and have set up a Countryside Watch Scheme to help rural farmers and business’s to combat this problem.

  • Natalie Mace PCSO Natalie Mace (6937) "Hello, my name is Natalie I am one of the PCSOs that covers Markfield, Ratby, Groby and Stanton under Bardon. I have been with Leicestershire Constabulary since Feb 2010 and based at Market Bosworth since May 2010. Since then I have been getting involved in all aspects of the community.

    "My primary village is Markfield where I work very closely with PC Harlock. We spend a lot of our time visiting schools publicising Stranger Danger, seasonal updates and general talks to get young people used to the police. We also work together to combat local issues that may arise in the area.
