I am delighted to be the commander for the Hinckley & Bosworth local Policing Unit.

When I arrived at Hinckley & Bosworth Local Policing Unit in July 2009 I stated that 

  • I wanted to provide a Policing service that is responsive to the needs of the local community and one that actually makes a difference.
  • I wanted to continue to reduce crime even further and bring more offenders to justice.

I have spent the previous 20 months working hard to achieve these aims and I have been very impressed with the commitment and determination of my own officers and the fantastic support provided the local community in helping to achieve these aims.

There have been some tremendous achievements for the LPU during this time and we are on track with many of our crime reduction targets after seeing some significant falls in crime.

There will be many challenges facing us in the next 12 months and I am confident that we are well placed at this LPU to meet these challenges.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the local communities of Hinckley & Bosworth for their continued support as none of this success would be possible without their help.
