How to contact your neighbourhood policing team and who they are
Neighbourhood Sergeant
-
Sgt Steve King (1916)
I have worked as a local Sergeant at Wigston Local Policing Unit for a number of years now, and as your Neighbourhood Sergeant I have a good understanding of the local community, local area and some of the issues that affect you.
During my service I have worked as a local bobby myself, so I know what challenges my team face and the ways in which we can best work with our communities
The team are dedicated to tackling current issues such as anti social behaviour and crime and disorder within your community and look forward to meeting you whilst out on patrol.
-
PC Dan Nutbrown (89)
I have been a Police Officer for over 5 years and have been based at Wigston Police Station for over 2 years covering Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston. I am now one of three local beat officers for Wigston Magna and I look forward to meeting you and working with local residents and partner agencies to tackle the issues that matter to you.

PC Paul White (2934)
I have worked for Leicestershire Constabulary for just over 4 years now as a response officer covering the Oadby & Wigston area. I am now one of the local beat officers for Wigston Magna and my aim is to tackle the problems and issues that affect the pubic in Wigston.
I am happy and proud to be policing my old stomping ground and I look forward to working with members of the community and getting my face known in the area.
-
PCSO Helen Danson (6581)
Originally employed to target anti-social behaviour, Helen's priority is high-visibility patrolling, getting to know the young people in the area and being a known face within the community.
The majority of Helen's shift is spent either on foot or by bike, and she hopes that this type of patrolling is making a real difference in the area. -
PCSO Jayne Pearson (6572) I have worked for Leicestershire Constabulary for 13 years where I am currently one of the Police Community Support Officers covering the Wigston area.
I enjoy meeting people within the local community, whilst providing a high visibility patrol on the neighbourhood, and engaging with all members of the public and our multi agency partners.
-
PCSO Julie Toone (6539)
Julie's main role is to provide a visible presence in the neighbourhood, which she hopes will reassure members of the local community. She assists police officers with their crime enquiries and works closely with local schools to tackle anti-social behaviour and educate young people on the importance of good citizenship.
