How to contact your neighbourhood policing team and who they are

  • Andy Sibson Sgt Andy Sibson (961) I have worked at Wigston Local Policing unit for nearly three years, so as the Neighbourhood Sergeant I feel I have a good understanding of the local community, local area and some of the issues that affect you.

    Prior to coming to Wigston I have worked in many other operational roles which have given me the experience to face the challenges with my Beat Team and look forward to working with you in your community.

    Our Neighbourhood Policing Team Officers are dedicated to tackling the issues that affect you such as anti-social behaviour and crime and disorder within your community and I look forward to meeting you whilst out and about or at one of the local Forum meetings in Oadby.

  • Michael Thomas PC Michael Thomas (1259) I have worked for Leicestershire Constabulary since June 2008 where I was a Police Community Support Officer covering the Oadby area until September 2009. I then became a Police Officer working as a response officer based at Market Harborough Police Station.

    I am pleased to be returning to the Oadby area and working with such a diverse community, where my past experience has given me good local knowledge.

    I aim to get involved in local issues and endeavour to keep Oadby the safe and enjoyable place it is to live and work in.
  • Mike Fenwick PC Mike Fenwick (2938) I have worked as a police officer at Wigston Local Policing Unit for nearly three years now and I am delighted to have joined the beat teams as a principle beat officer for Oadby. During my time here I have dealt with the many issues affecting the area and feel that I will be able to use this knowledge and understanding to achieve a positive effect. I look forward to working with the many residents of Oadby, to resolve local issues, and to try and prevent and detect crime.
  • PCSO 6621 Hayley Stokes PCSO Hayley Stokes (6621) "I am a Police Community Support Officer based at Wigston Police Station, where I have recently joined the Oadby neighbourhood team.

    I have developed close links with local schools and colleges and aim to work closely with the local community and provide a second to none service.

    I look forward to meeting with local residents whilst I am out and about on my beat which will enable me to tackle the key issues and concerns within Oadby."
  • Photograph of PCSO Jacqueline Meek-Hardy PCSO Jacqueline Meek-Hardy (6641) Jacquie has been a PCSO since October 2005. She enjoys meeting the people of Oadby and getting to know the area.

    Jacquie likes being part of the PCSO team and working closely with the community, including local licensees and retailers. She pays regular visits to schools and colleges and has forged a good working relationship with both staff and students alike.

  • Joe Couchman PCSO Joe Couchman (6871) "I have been a PCSO since July 2009 and am committed to providing the best service to all the residents of Oadby, meeting their expectations and dealing with any issues as best I can.

    By getting to know the younger members of the community I hope to build up a level of trust and respect between them and the Police Service that will last for my time here and for those that follow."
  • Photograph of PCSO Nad Ikram PCSO Nad Ikram (6518) Nad has been working for Leicestershire Constabulary since March 2003. Nad firmly believes that people in the community can make a difference by working in partnership with others. He is keen to engage with all members of the public and multi agency partners.

    Nad has positive relationships with schools and colleges, where in the past he has been involved in organising various local initiatives. In addition he has close links with the places of worship within Oadby and is committed to working with all faith groups.
