Wigston police station

Please note: Wigston FEO is temporarily closed. Members of the public are advised to go to Welford Road Police Station in the interim.

Wigston police station is located on Bull Head Street, the main road running through Wigston, opposite the junction with Kelmarsh Avenue.

By car from Leicester city centre, take the Welford Road southbound until you reach a roundabout. Cross over the roundabout and continue onto Bull Head Street; the police station is located about half way down on the right hand side.

From Oadby, head in the direction of Wigston on the B582 Wigston Road until you reach a roundabout. Cross over the roundabout and continue onto Bull Head Street; the police station is located about half way down on the right hand side.

Leicestershire Constabulary provide a 24-hour policing service but there may be times when you need to go into a police station. Whilst we try hard to make sure that the opening hours are kept to, there may be occasions when, due to operational reasons, it may be necessary to change them.

During opening hours, local policing units can be contacted by calling 101*. In an emergency, for example where life is in danger or a crime is in progress, call 999.

* Calls to 101 cost 15p for the entire call from both mobile phones and land lines.
