Inspector Kev Morris

I am Inspector Kev Morris and I am the new local policing commander for Beaumont Leys LPU. I have over 22 years of uniform policing experience in variety of policing roles across Leicestershire. I am really pleased to have been given the opportunity to join the highly motivated team here at Beaumont Leys and New Parks. I am looking forward to the challenges of making Beaumont Leys and New Parks a safer place to live, work and visit.

My focus and my teams focus will be on tackling the crime that affects community most such as drug dealing, anti-social behaviour and property crime. We intend to do this by providing a first class service to you 'the community', with our partners. We will deal robustly with those people in the community who cause you the most harm and commit crime. I am committed to reducing crime on our area and bring more offenders to justice. I am also intrigued to hear your views and what you think are the local problems that I, my teams of neighbourhood officers and partners can influence to make your lives better. So please get in touch if you have any issues in your neighbourhood that we can confront to make your lives better because it’s only working together that we can eliminate crime and anti-social behaviour from our neighbourhoods.

I look forward to your support and working with you all in the future.
