Braunstone Park and Rowley Fields covers the Braunstone Estate and falls within the Leicester City Council area. It has boundaries with Western Park, Fullhurst Avenue and the busy Narborough Road.

The neighbourhood is mainly residential and includes a selection of shops and schools. Braunstone Park forms a large part of the neighbourhood and covers 168 acres. It contains sports fields and open areas as well as formal gardens. At its centre is the Georgian Braunstone Hall. The park hosts a number of large-scale events throughout the year.

The neighbourhood also covers Rowley Fields with the Riverside Community College and the Fullhurst Community College close by.
