How to contact your neighbourhood policing team and who they are

Neighbourhood Sergeant

  • Sgt Dan Eveleigh Sgt Dan Eveleigh (1995) I have recently come to work with Coleman and Evington Neighbourhood Policing Teams having spent many years in mainly operational roles, and a bit of time in a team dealing with risk management.

To have inherited a really strong team of officers who know their beats very well, and are targeting local problems with local partners, is fantastic and extremely encouraging. My aim is to lead them positively and intelligently and show local people that we can be trusted to listen to them, identify what we and others can do, and then act decisively.
  • PC Claire Jackson (4660) PC Claire Jackson (4660) I joined Leicestershire Constabulary in 2008, and worked at Spinney Hill Park Station before moving on to the St Matthews Estate.

It is very important for local residents to ring the police, visit our office, or stop us and speak to us in the street with any concerns or to give us any information. It is only when issues or concerns are reported to us that we know what problems to tackle in the area.
  • PC Rob Evans PC Rob Evans (1878) "I joined Leicestershire Constabulary in April 2002 and worked as a local police officer at Spinney Hill Park Police Station, before becoming a neighbourhood officer for Evington and Goodwood in April 2009.

"I have established great contacts and links in the community and look forward to serving the new Evington neighbourhood.

"I will continue to engage with our partner agencies and the community to ensure that that the Evington neighbourhood is a safe and pleasant location to live and work. I will ensure that the victims of crime are being properly cared for and supported and that the perpetrators are brought to justice."
  • PCSO Andy Postlewaite PCSO Andy Postlewaite (6860) "I joined Leicestershire Constabulary in July 2009 and have been solely based at Spinney Hill Park police station. I have been working the Evington beat since January 2010.

"I am looking forward to working with the residents of the local community to help reduce anti-social behaviour and any other issues that arise in the Evington neighbourhood."
  • PCSO Georgina Cook PCSO Georgina Cook (6513) "I joined Leicestershire Constabulary in February 2001 as a Traffic Warden and then became a Police Community Support Officer in February 2003.

"I have been based at Spinney Hill police station since 2007 where I became the local PCSO for the Evington neighbourhood.

"During this time I have enjoyed getting to know the local residents, schools, businesses and other agencies in the Evington neighbourhood to try and make a safe and pleasant place for people to work and live in."
