Local priorities and action taken
Our priorities for Winter - Summer 2012
Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities that we will be concentrating on over the coming months.
- To target rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour, such as riding of mini motos and drinking of alcohol, which is causing harassment alarm and distress to other park users in Eyres Monsell parks, occurring daily in the evenings. THIS PRIORITY IS NOW CLOSED.
- Anti-social behaviour in the form of drunken, rowdy behaviour around Wokingham Avenue and Monmouth Drive, occurring in the evening.

Officers have conducted high visibility patrols in the area and have carried out patch walks and patrols with the Eyres Monsell City Warden. Two people have been arrested for graffiti offences. They received a reprimand and anti-social behaviour letters were issued. Officers have carried out consultations with local residents and the issues appear to have died down. THIS PRIORITY IS NOW CLOSED.
