Welford Road police station
Travelling from Leicester city centre, take the A50 Welford Road south from the city passing Victoria Park on the left. The road is a main dual carriageway and the police station is on the corner of Houldith Road opposite a large service station.
There is street parking around the police station. If travelling by bus, there is a bus stop directly outside the police station and this route is served by the number 47, 43 and 49 buses.
Leicestershire Constabulary provide a 24-hour policing service but there may be times when you need to go into a police station. Whilst we try hard to make sure that the opening hours are kept to, there may be occasions when, due to operational reasons, it may be necessary to change them.
During opening hours, local policing units can be contacted by calling 101*. In an emergency, for example where life is in danger or a crime is in progress, call 999.
* Calls to 101 cost 15p for the entire call from both mobile phones and land lines.
