Humberstone and Hamilton

The Humberstone neighbourhood consists predominantly of residential premises covering Humberstone village, and the Hamilton and Netherhall housing estates.

There are a variety of community amenities and facilities located within these areas including supermarkets and smaller local stores, doctor’s surgeries, a library and fast food outlets. There is also a large further education college, a secondary school and a number of primary schools which the beat team visit on a regular basis, providing information and advice to staff and pupils.

The Neighbourhood Team holds regular surgeries and community consultation events at various locations within the ward, providing residents with the opportunity to meet the team and discuss any issues relevant to policing the area and making it a safe and enjoyable place to be.

Your neighbourhood policing team are committed to making your neighbourhood a safer place to live in, work in and visit.

Your team is made up of police officers, police community support officers and special constables. They are working together with the community and other partners to tackle local problems and help improve the quality of life for local residents.

They currently want to find out what matters most to you in the area you live. They will work with you and their partners to agree the main priorities for your area and how everyone can work together to tackle them.
