  • Sgt 4048 Sarah Widdowson Sgt Sarah Widdowson (4048) I joined Leicestershire Police in 1999, and have worked in a variety of roles in the city area. I look forward to being the Neighbourhood Sgt for Latimer and Belgrave beats
  • PC Gary Bailey PC Gary Bailey (852) I have been a police officer for nearly six years and have spent all of my service at Keyham Lane. In that time I have worked on the Neighbourhood Action Team, as well as a general response officer and advanced driver.

    I am looking forward to the change in role I am undertaking and I am keen to become actively involved in tackling the issues affecting the Belgrave Community.
  • PC Laura Nutt PC Laura Nutt (4312) I have worked for Leicestershire Constabulary for over ten years now, previously as a member of support staff before becoming a police officer.

    I have spent my police officer service to date in the Belgrave area and became a principal beat officer (PBO) towards the end of 2005. Hopefully you will have seen me out and about within the community.

    I am very approachable and aim to spend more time working within the Belgrave community offering reassurance and assisting in tackling issues in order to make the Belgrave area a nicer and safer place to live.
  • PC Tommy Williams PC Thomas Williams (581) I have been a beat officer in the Northfields area for the past 11 years, however due to staff re-locations I have moved to the Latimer ward, and I am looking forward to the challenge of working in a new area. My aims are to make the area a place that people want to, and are proud to live in. There have been many successes and improvements over the years in the quality of life for local people. My colleagues and I in partnership with other agencies, will work hard to continue that work.


  • PCSO Gemma Birt PCSO Gemma Birt (6563) I was a PCSO for four years in Market Harborough and moved to Belgrave in March 2009.

    I am looking forward to becoming an established member of the Belgrave Team and working with the community to develop a stronger relationship with the police.
  • Hayward Cobb PCSO Hayward Cobb (6190) I joined Leicestershire Constabulary in February 2009 and I am based in the Latimer ward.
