Your Dedicated Neighbourhood Team (DNT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
ASB remains a priority for the residents of the NH20 beat. We are aware of numerous reports of youths causing general issues in parks, open areas within our villages. Working closely with our partners in Blaby District Council using the incremental approach to reducing ASB on the area, we are targeting those causing the most problems.

Nuisance Motorbike and the subsequent noise issues these can bring is a top priority for the area. The beat team work to identify perpetrators and issue warning notices under section 59 of the Police Reform Act and where we have the legal power we will seize them. We have seen some reports in relation to the improper use of E-scooters and the beat team will be completing educational inputs into their proper use and legality.
