This document endeavour to ensure the Force meets its aims, objectives and legal obligations. This is done by using the services of private recovery garages that have the necessary recovery vehicles, premises and supporting infrastructure required to remove all types of vehicles, store them and dispose of them in line with the legislation.

There are occasions when a death is suspicious or cannot be explained or it occurs in questionable circumstances. In such cases the death will be attended to and investigated by Leicestershire Police.
