Leicestershire Police officers and staff will respond to Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) by following the national guidance contained within Authorised Professional Practice (APP)

This Policy underpins the National Volunteer Police Cadets (VPC) Safeguarding Framework 2020. The aim of the policy is to ensure that all staff and volunteers involved in the Cadet Programme understand that Child Protection and Safeguarding should be at the first priority when planning and engaging with Cadet Activities.

The Biometric Policy sets out the procedures, which should be followed for police officers conducting checks on a person’s fingerprints whilst not in the custody environment (where other PACE Powers apply).

The purpose of this document is to outline the way in which domestic abuse investigations are conducted within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The Policy provides the detailed processes underpinning such investigations ensuring that they conform to nationally approved standards.

Leicestershire Police uses social media primarily to engage with the public. Partner agencies, other forces, senior police officers and the media are secondary audiences.

This Policy is intended to ensure all those affected by stalking and harassment receive a consistent quality of service and an appropriate level of support.
