A former police constable will be the subject of a gross misconduct hearing.

Former PC Lee Briggs is alleged to have breached the standards of professional behaviour, namely:

  • Honesty and integrity
  • Discreditable conduct
  • Authority, respect and courtesy

The case will be heard on Thursday 13 June and the panel chair has determined that proceedings will be held in public.

The hearing will take place at Leicestershire Police Headquarters and is scheduled to start at 9.30am on Thursday 13 June. It is due to conclude the same day.
