Gross misconduct hearing - police constable

A police constable is to face an accelerated gross misconduct hearing.

They are appearing before a gross misconduct hearing for breaching the standards of professional behaviour, namely discreditable conduct.

It is alleged that the PC, on various dates in 2025, engaged with someone known to be selling sexual services.

If proven, it will amount to gross misconduct.

The hearing will take place on Wednesday 26 August at 1pm at Leicestershire Police Force Headquarters and will be chaired by Chief Constable David Sandall.

Due to welfare reasons, the officer concerned has been granted anonymity by the Chair.
