A former Leicestershire police constable is due to appear before a gross misconduct hearing.
It is alleged that while on duty on 17 October 2025, former PC Emma Elliott reported that she had made attempts to speak with a person at an address (knocking the door) following an incident and that there was no response. It is alleged that this was false and/ or deliberately misleading and that no attempts had been made to speak to a person at the address.
It is reported that the conduct of the officer breached standards of professional behaviour, namely honesty and integrity; duties and responsibilities; and discreditable conduct.
The hearing is due to take place at Leicestershire Police force headquarters on Tuesday 13 October. It is scheduled to last for two days.
