A Leicestershire police constable is due to appear before a gross misconduct hearing.
It is alleged that on various dates between November 2025 and April 2026, the officer made contact with individuals selling sexual services in an attempt to procure sexual services.
It is reported that the conduct of the officer breached standards of professional behaviour, namely discreditable conduct.
The hearing is due to take place at Leicestershire Police force headquarters on Wednesday 23 September 2026 at 1pm.
For legal reasons, the Chair of the hearing has directed that the officer cannot be identified at this stage.
