A Leicestershire police constable is due to appear before a gross misconduct hearing.
It is alleged that on 28 September 2024, the officer made contact with an individual who was selling sexual services for the purpose of procuring sexual services.
It is reported that the conduct of the officer breached standards of professional behaviour, namely discreditable conduct.
The hearing is due to take place at Leicestershire Police force headquarters on Tuesday 6 October 2026 at 1pm.
Due to welfare concerns, the Chair of the hearing has determined that the officer’s name during the course of the hearing and in any publication is to be anonymised.
To register your attendance at your hearing, please let us know here - Attend a misconduct hearing | Leicestershire Police. You must apply to observe no later than 8am on Monday 5 October 2026.
