Fatal house fire being treated as non-suspicious

A fatal fire at a house in Kirby Muxloe is being treated as non-suspicious.
A man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene of the fire which happened in Church Road during the early hours of Friday 5 April.
Police had been called to the address at 3.30am by Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service reporting their attendance at the fire.
Officers and the East Midlands Ambulance Service also attended.
Following an examination of the scene by specialist officers and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue colleagues, the deaths are not being treated as suspicious.
A file will be prepared for HM Coroner and identification of the deceased is a matter for the coroner.
