Two men have appeared in court today (Monday 2 December) after they were charged with a number of offences in the city centre.
Aaron Gittens, 31, of no fixed address, has been charged with theft, criminal damage, fraud and four counts of burglary.
Peter Cooney, 37, of Rivers Street, Leicester, has been charged with criminal damage, two counts of theft, two counts of fraud and five counts of burglary.
All of the offences are believed to have taken place across the city centre between April and November this year.
Both men appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today and were remanded into custody to appear at Leicester Crown Court on Monday 6 January, 2020.
