Three more people have been charged after an operation to target the misuse of controlled substances.
Xuan Pham, 34, of Courtenay Road, Leicester, has been charged with conspiracy to produce cannabis; Dao Pham, 34, of Courtenay Road, Leicester, has been charged with conspiracy to produce cannabis and Dawid Flondro, 29, of Homefield Road, Sileby, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and possession with intent to supply cannabis.
All three have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (Fri)
The charges come after officers from the force’s tactical support unit and neighbourhood policing area have been carrying out an enforcement operation across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
Other arrests were made across Leicestershire yesterday.
A 50-year-old man and a 33-year-old man, both of Leicester, and a 31-year-old man and 30-year-old woman, both of Blaby, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply controlled drugs have all been released on bail.
A 47-year-old man, of Nether Broughton, and a 54-year-old woman, of Sileby, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply controlled drugs and a 22-year-old woman, of Leicester, arrested under the Proceeds of Crime Act have all been released under investigation.
A 23-year-old woman, of Leicester, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply controlled drugs and an 18-year-old man, of Leicester, arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug have since been released pending further enquiries.
