Three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder in connection with the death of Mohammed Jibreel.
The three boys, two aged 16 and one aged 15, all of Leicester, were arrested this morning (Thurs).
They currently remain in police custody.
Mohammed Jibreel was found injured in the area of Taylor Road and Kashmir Road in St Matthews, Leicester, at around 3pm on Saturday 21 September. He had suffered a stab wound and was taken to hospital where he died during the early hours of Sunday 22 September.
A murder investigation was launched and enquiries remain ongoing.
An 18-year-old man, of Leicester, who was arrested on Monday (30 September) on suspicion of the murder of Mohammed, remains in police custody being questioned by detectives.
Last Friday (27 September), Ali Mohamed, 19, of Pembroke Street, Leicester, was charged with the murder of Mohammed and has been remanded into custody.
A 17-year-old boy, of Leicester, previously arrested on suspicion of murder has been released under investigation.
A 19-year-old man, a 48-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman, who were previously arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have been released on police bail.
