A 26-year-old man has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.
The charges relate to a single-vehicle collision in Soar Valley Way on 23 November 2018.
Ryan Moran has also been charged with two counts of causing death by driving while uninsured and one count of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Two people who were in the vehicle – Kye Cunningham, 30, and 25-year-old Laura Cramp – died as a result of the collision.
Moran, of Middleton Street, Leicester, is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on 25 October.
