Two people arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with a murder investigation have been released on police bail.
A 48-year-old man, of Leicester, was arrested on Saturday (28 Sept) and a 42-year-old woman, also of Leicester, was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of the offence in connection with the death of Mohammed Jibreel.
Yesterday evening (Sun), both were released on police bail.
Mohammed Jibreel was found injured in the area of Taylor Road and Kashmir Road in St Matthews, Leicester, at around 3pm last Saturday (21 September). He had suffered a stab wound and was taken to hospital where he died during the early hours of Sunday morning.
A murder investigation was launched and enquiries remain ongoing.

* Ali Mohamed, 19, of Pembroke Street, Leicester, has been charged with the murder of Mohammed Jibreel and remanded in police custody.
A 17-year-old man, of Leicester, previously arrested on suspicion of murder has been released under investigation.
A 19-year-old man, who was arrested on Friday on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on police bail.
