A woman has been charged with robbery and aggravated taking a vehicle without consent following an incident in Howard Road, Leicester, yesterday (Wednesday).
Dawn Lewis, 45, of Terry Yardley Way, Loughborough, is also charged with driving without a licence or insurance and failing to provide a specimen.
The robbery charge alleges that keys and money were stolen from a woman. The victim required treatment at hospital but has since been discharged.
Lewis was remanded into custody to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court today (Thursday).
