Officers are appealing for information following a collision in Catherine Street, Leicester.
The collision, which happened at around 1pm on Saturday 7 December, involved a black Corsa car and a pedestrian – a seven-year-old girl.
The girl attended hospital following the incident. She had not suffered serious injuries and was discharged later the same day.
The incident remains under investigation and officers are continuing to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
No arrests have been made.
While some time has passed since the incident, officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any dashcam footage from the time of the incident to make contact.
