A 33-year-old man has been charged with three offences following a report of an attack with a baseball bat last week.
Owen Maughan, of Blaby Road, Enderby, has been charged with attempt grievous bodily harm, affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
The charges relate to an incident in Mill Lane, Enderby, on Monday 10 February. At around 3pm, a man was reported to have been assaulted with a baseball bat and a vehicle was damaged.
Maughan has been remanded to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court this morning (18 February).
